She reaches beyond the comfortable and familiar conventions of painting, and allows the viewer to spontaneously play while grappling with the more weighty implications of our contemporaneity.
Her use of kitschy and magical subject matter exerts influence over the viewer and appeals to their elementary archives of memory, serving to innovatively deconstruct and reformat the storybook.
